Scottish lad looking for Gaelic translation for a tattoo before moving to Australia to keep my Scottish roots firmly in place.

I know nothing about my Dad's side of the Family. I have found that records if any, are scarce. Even from Ireland. I've been lead to believe I would either belong to the MacKintosh or Douglas Clans. But, I'm not sure. As I have no idea as to my Dads' Father's name, or his Father's name. I have seen a Glen Crest, but that's all I know. I am a Canadian but I am a Scot at heart. I enjoy listening to BBC Scotland mainly for news but sometimes other programs too. I've been over twice and have a trip planned for the summer/fall of this year to do some of the walks. My ancestors came from Kintyre in the mid 1800's. So far, I haven't located any that stayed behind. Maybe someday.
