About Supporting Membership

Scotster is free to use and there are no fees to pay for standard Membership. However, if you would like to show your support for Scotster and help the site to survive and grow then you may contribute and enjoy special 'Supporting Member' status. Two options are currently offered, both at a reduced 'Pioneer Rate':

1 Year Supporting Membership

We'll add our special 'Supporting Member' icon everywhere your name appears on Scotster. We'll also list you on our 'Supporting Members' page and display a badge on your Scotster profile to show that you've contributed financially to the future of Scotster.

Lifetime Membership

We're also happy to offer a one-time payment option so that you will never have to renew or think about it again. Contribute once to become a 'Lifetime Member' of Scotster and we'll also give you our special star icon on your profile. Naturally we have to make it clear that 'Lifetime' refers to our lifetime and not your own but we're confident that Scotster will be around for many years to come ;)

Your contribution will be used to promote Scotster to a wider audience, to upgrade the technology that drives Scotster and to ensure that we can continue to provide service to people who may be less able to support Scotster financially.
