I'm a bookseller (used and out of print) living in the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. My ancestors were cleared in the Kildonan, Sutherland evictions of 1815, and from Mull (1812); and Skye (via Glenelg, Inverness-shire, 1802). I am the genealogist for The Lord Selkirk Association of Rupert's Land, a society preserving the history of the first, mostly Scottish, agricultural colony (Red River Settlement 1812) in Manitoba... wanted: friendship.. on offer: friendship Today I harvested some red clover for tea this winter. Now at work in the bookshop! - see 7 comments |
