I became Chief of the Port Adelaide Caledonian Society in 1999 and still occupy that position. I am also President of The Scottish Associations of South Australia, The Clan MacLeod Society of South Australia and The South Australian Pipes and Drums. A great-grandfather of mine was among the people "cleared" from the village of Ramasaig on the Isle of Skye, and I've visited the ruins there.
