    Douglas B: The Scots-Irish Canuck

from the Kirkland Lake area in Canada

I have been delving into my family tree lately and discovered that my ancestors on my fathers side are mainly of Irish and Scottish origins. My clan affiliation would be with the Macdonalds of Sleat thru their McCutcheon (MacCutcheon) sept. As for the Irish side, my ancestors lived in Northern Ireland and emigrated to Canada around 1825 before the Famine devastated the country. I am attempting to locate the areas where both lived but it.. wanted: more family info, on-line chats, friendship, clan affiliation.. on offer: canadian source info, on-line chats, friendship, clan loyalty

Today I am contemplating the crazy weather that we are having in Canada lately. They showed on the news last nite that that our west got hit with another sno.
