My mother was Scottish, coming from Paisley, near Glasgow. She taught me to really appreciate all things Scottish. I have worked as a teacher, sold real estate, and managed acquisition & relocation statewide for the Michigan Dept of Transportation. My husband and I are retired now, busier than ever, and enjoy our family and 3 grandchildren. I am working on my family history in the Glasgow area.

Margaret B: Stubborn Texan female, Scottish Ancestry photos

from Texas, Republic Of in Seguin in United States(also regularly in the Edgewood area)

I am a hard-headed, stubborn, Texan-born female of Scottish ancestry. I can be quick tempered, quick witted, and due to my Texan upbringing often go in search of an excellent Margarita although I do admire several other spirits. I like to read, rodeo, photograph, travel, and have hopes of winning the lottery so I can ditch my desk job. Still not sure what I want to be when I grow up... wanted: friendship.. on offer: friendship

from the Cavan area in Canada

I am a singing instructor and a performer in Ontario, Canada. Unlike my Scottish mum, I love the pipes and a fine haggis! The Scottish festivals and Scottish Country Dancing are about as close as we can get to Scotland without hopping a plane. Hopefully my little son and I will have the opportunity to visit regularly!
