    My grandmother was a Galbraith & I have enjoyed searching my family roots. We found a Galbraith family Castle Culcreuch built in 1296 in Scotland along with our clan crest & tartan colors. I have been married for 40 years & have 4 children & 6 grandchildren.

    I live in Mountainburg, Arkansas USA. I raise Irish Wolfhounds and Paint horses. I belong to Clan Galbraith, and my grandmothers family, Gilbreath came from Armagh, Ireland, but was ancestrally from Strathclyde in lowland Scotland near Dumbartonshire. They came to the US via Northern Ireland in the 1700's moved west and settled the Ozarks. We are fierce mountain hillbillys, Scots-Irish and Indian. I am an Arkansas native going back to early 1800's!.. wanted: friends, galbraith contacts, scottish friends, scottish deerhound.. on offer: friendship, american geneaology, american friend, irish wolfhound

    Have been to Scotland twice and hope to visit again soon. Researching several Scottish family lines. My Galbraiths were from Dalrymple, Ayrshire in early 1800s. Dalziel and Hunter ancestors are from Penpont, Dumfriesshire. The Morrisons I haven't traced beyond the Gaspe, Quebec in the early 1800s. Other Scottish names: Cunningham, Gillis, Goodall, Gracie, Lorimer, McNish, McQuhae, Milligain, Nisbet, Whitehead, Wilson. Have lived in Australia and United Arab Emirates and love travelling, writing and photography... wanted: ideas.. on offer: genealogy
