My Highlanders came from western Scotlland via Pictou and Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia on father's side. I am a singing instructor and a performer in Ontario, Canada. Unlike my Scottish mum, I love the pipes and a fine haggis! The Scottish festivals and Scottish Country Dancing are about as close as we can get to Scotland without hopping a plane. Hopefully my little son and I will have the opportunity to visit regularly!
