Direct descendant of David Hamilton Wemyss (he's my Gx7-GGrandfather) of Fife who immigrated to Maryland in 1715. Recently I have become more interested in my heritage. Visited Scotland for two weeks in Sept 09 to explore family history and the castles, Wemyss, MacDuff and Elcho. My Coo is named after David's Sister who also immigrated here with him and brother, James. Today I am looking at the snowbank next to my Jeep, its taller and 12-20" more are on the way! Ackkk!! |
