hi there i am a born and bred scottish nationalist with a pawkie sense of humour. i would like to think that i am apersonable and likeable human being but my wife says otherwise. i enjoy all outdoor pursuits and i am a keen photgrapher. i live for jeelie pieces and the wifes mince and tatties.

Today I have been both happy and sad. Friend next door gave birth to a little boy, sad because a dear friend and neigbour died yesterday. - see 3 comments

I am a direct descendent of the clan Craig, born in Scarborough, England and raised in the USA, have family living in Northern England now. I have been back to my 'home country' 3 times in the last five years and can only say I wish I could move there or spend more time there with my family! I love everything about my heritage and home country - feel a very deep connection to my roots!

Today I am booking my flight to South Carolina at the end of the month to see my son graduate from Basic Training-US Army.

I need to get a hold of our family tree that my grandfather's brother spent so much time piecing together. From what I know it was 3 brothers from Scotland who came over to North America, 3 shoemakers. Ancestry being originally 100% Scottish, I have some Irish and german mixed in now, but looking at me you'd swear the Scottish part beat everything out. I was born and raised in Louisiana but my wife and some very close friends are planning a move to Scotland hopefully within this year and we're all very excited.
