    I am a member of Clan Buchanan Society International, Inc. and a Co-Regent of Ohio. I also have Pringle, Malcomb and Turnbull ancestors. So far I have not joined those Clans. I love the Heilan Coos, Bison ( American Buffalo ) horses and dogs. I have never been to Scotland and most likely this will be as close as I get.

    3 of my 4 grandparents were from Scotland- Dundee area and also Troon. I have researched several generations of ancestors. My paternal grandmother was Nicolson from England, her husband was Nicholson from Dundee. I am looking to find additional Nicholsons. Mine all came to the USA with the woolen industries and settled in New England.

    Southern California raised Traditional sailor who loves Scotland and Northern California. I spent over 10 months in Scotland supervising the rigging restoration in Glasgow of the tallship GLENLEE built in 1897. Lived in Tahiti and the South Seas, Australia, East, West and Gulf coasts of the US and have sailed over 25,000 on square-rigged ships.     New England Commissioner for the Clan Buchanan - Highland Games and Scottish Festivals are what I do. We live in Connecticut and love New Hampshire. My mother was born in Scotland my father was a Yorkshireman. My wife and I are amateur naturalists and photograph wildflowers. Some people see only the big picture, I seek beauty in the small.

    I am retired-a farmers wife,formerly a primary school teacher.We live on a block of 37 acres in the Waikato area of the north island NZ.I have 4 children,all married, and 8 grandchildren.One set of grandparents met when they both sang in the Glasgow choir,then came to NZ in 1900.The other grandparents came from Dunfermline in 1864.
