    Born in Irvine, Scotland in 1948. My father was a Newfoundland volunteer, who served with the Royal Navy during ww2 on British minesweepers. He met and married a lass from Ardrossan, Scotland while stationed there. We returned to Newfoundland in 1949. I am married, with a son, daughter and four grandchildren. I am a Power Engineer, and work in one of the top fish processing plants in Newfoundland.
