My Grandfather was an Anderson from Arbroath and my Grandmother was originally a McBride who was born in Forfar but grew up in Dundee. I was born in Scotland and left when I was 21. I wish I was back there right now. I love camping and fishing, and football. I am so glad my sister told me about this site. My ancestress Margaret Anderson married Thomas Pratley from Oxfordshire on 19 May 1815 in Glasgow, Scotland. He was there serving with the 71st Regiment.
