Get the idea? We start off with one word and drop a letter to make another word. If you drop a letter, you cannot add one. If you add a letter, you cannot drop one. You must always end up with a one letter smaller or larger word than the previous. You may make an anagram of the word, as long as you still either add or subtract one letter.. Starting with a 7 letter word:
