Cheesecake. It's got to be cheesecake, preferably with strawberries and cream.

Although I do like lemon, vanilla, raspberry, Orkney fudge, blueberry, chocolate, in fact, any cheesecake at all.

Yummmmm!!!

from Julie K: "Just say Julie" (kuddles) member photos on Thu 28/01/10 03:46

Clafoutis, sometimes in Anglophone countries spelled clafouti, is a baked French dessert that is typically made by baking fresh fruit (traditionally cherries) and a batter, halfway between a Yorkshire pudding/pancake batter and a custard [1], in a baking dish.

While I probably wouldn't say no to cheesecake either, I can't resist homemade cookies.

Pumpkin-white chocolate....

"Tuxedo" cookies with Hershey Hugs in the center...

Classic sugar cutouts (time consuming to make but worth it)...

Chocolate chip walnut.

:)

Aw ye folkes have never tried my peach cobbler, or blueberry cobbler topped with pecans, with a dollop of vanilla ice cream atop of it, all made in Dutch ovens with coals from the fire pit doing the cooking.

Freah Papaya shakes with ice and sweetened condensed milk in Haiti in the dead of summer. Aaahhhh brief relief from the heat and oh so good to eat something sweet. I will never forget that desert.
